We have a peaceful and quiet residence with a spacious, securely fenced backyard area complete with a gazebo and outdoor patio for our residents to enjoy some time outdoors.
Each resident has their own private bedroom, which families decorate for their loved ones with keepsakes, photos of friends and family, familiar decor and furnishings to help each resident's personal space feel like home. We do not set specific visiting hours, as family and friends are always welcome and encouraged to come visit at any time.
Home-cooked meals, snacks and drinks are served family-style every day, however we respect and support each resident's individual needs if they prefer to eat outside of scheduled meal times.
We provide a safe environment where our residents can age in place comfortably, while receiving personal care & emotional support by our long-term caregivers at a 2:7 ratio (among the highest in our industry). Our staff includes certified nurses and medical aides specializing in geriatric care. At the Galway Homes we do not engage in the practice of ‘up-charging’ if for any reason your loved one requires additional assistance by our in-house staff. For residents who are too weak and unsteady, our staff provide a two-person transfer. Any time day or night, rest assured your loved one will receive professional care and emotional support at The Galway Homes.
